Parsley user guide

Parsley sits next to Square or Toast. It is not the register. Use it to plan prep from what you expect to sell, run the kitchen queue, and see waste and operating profit after tickets are completed.

New shop: Get the shop running. Joining an existing shop: Sign in.

Who sees what

Staff — Dashboard, Prep, Orders, Settings.

Managers and owners — those screens, plus Store, Cookbook, and Team.

Owners see every location. Managers and staff only see stores they were given. Switch stores with the map pin in the header. Details: Roles, Locations.

A shift

1. Open Dashboard. Check forecast, waste, profit, and anything low in inventory.
2. Open Prep. Work the list. Tap status as you go.
3. Orders fills from the POS. Complete a ticket when it leaves the pass. Until then it does not count for waste or profit.
4. If tonight will be busier than usual, a manager adds an event or bumps the weekly planner.
