Staffing

Store → Costing → Staffing is the kitchen roster: people, pay, and shifts. It is not Team logins. Someone can be on the schedule with no Parsley account.

Pro. Managers and owners only.

Labor on Profits is hours × rate from this roster. No overtime, no timesheets.

Set it up

Staff

Add person — name and hourly rate (USD). Removing a person removes their shifts.

Pay rates starts collapsed so pay is not on screen. Open it to edit rates. While it is closed, labor $ on the hours list is hidden too. Names and hours still show.

This week lists each person (same color dots as Waste) and a Week total. Open Pay rates to see $ next to hours.

Schedule

Monday–Sunday of the week you are looking at. Arrow buttons change week. This week jumps back to today.

Each day cell shows the date and hours scheduled under it, or Closed if the store is shut. Tap a day, then Add shift. Change person and times in the table (AM/PM).

Shifts are not limited to store hours. Closed dates cannot take shifts.

If end is earlier than start (10:00 PM–1:00 AM), the shift runs past midnight and those hours sit on the start date.

Copy to… copies that day’s shifts onto another day this week. Copy last week fills this week from the previous one.

Use it

Build the week here. Profits reads it. You do not clock people in.

If it looks wrong

  • Day cell shows 0 hr — no shifts, or you are on a closed date.
  • Overnight hours landed on the wrong day — they count on the start date.
  • Profit labor is $0 — Pay rates still $0, or no shifts in the range.
